Solvang Senior UPDaTE
Following up on last month's dinner that we served at the Solvang Senior Center, Executive Director Ellen Albertoni filled us in on what the center does and needs.
Solvang Library
Carrie McKinnon told us about all the services provided by the library as well as their funding challenges. Last month we made a Community Service grant of $1000 for children's programs at the library.
FIFTH THURSDAY
Our Fifth Thursday last month was at the SYV Equestrian Center where we saw a demonstration of a session with a disabled women who used a special lift to get on the horse, rode around the arena then spoke about the benefits of the program to her.
President John presented a check to the Equestrian Center.
He also presented a check to Joe Sanguinet for PathPoint who spoke about their program helping people with disabilities.

Thursday, 5/4. Women in Rotary 30th Anniversary Celebration at K-Syrah. There will not be a club meeting that evening.
