Guatemala Recap
Last week five of the Dunn School students who went on the recent trip to Guatemala spoke about their experiences, each one giving their impressions of a different aspect of the trip. The highlight of the trip was helping to build a house for a family that had been living in a tine shed with a dirt floor. Our club made this possible with a donation of $4000 to Constru Casa, a non-profit that builds homes for people who would not be able to afford one otherwise.
Besides the Constru Casa project, the team visited Transitions Foundation where they make wheel chairs for the disWelcano near Antigua. A big thank you to Uli for organizing this and chaperoning the students.
